Clary Sage is best known for providing support during a woman's menstrual cycle, but is effective at any time as it is known for assisting in relaxation, soothing and balancing the mind. Inhaling Clary Sage promotes feelings of relaxation and can be very helpful in assisting in a restful night's sleep. During menstruation, rub 3 to 5 drops (diluted in coconut oil) on to the abdomen for a soothing massage. In combination wtih Roman Chamomile, it makes a great addition to a bath to relieve stress. Diffuser in the bedroom or add a drop to your pillow for a restful sleep.
Clary Sage is the main ingredient in the doTERRA Clary Calm blend for women. If you cannot tolerate any of the other ingredients in this blend (as it is very floral), then Clary Sage is an excellent alternative.

Aromatic Use - Place 3 to 4 drops in to your aroma diffuser.
Topical Use - Dilute 1 to 2 drops in coconut oil and massage in to the skin
Internal Use - Not safe for use internally.
Cleaning - Not generally used for cleaning
