What is Crystal Deodorant?

While Crystal Deodorant is the name of a brand that originates from the USA, and the term is trademarked, it’s also a generic term used for deodorants that use mineral salts for odour control. The information on this page is specific to the Crystal brand that we sell. The Crystal brand was the original mineral salt brand with their origins 35 years ago and they are still industry leads in their field to this date.

What different application options are there for Crystal Deodorant?

Crystal Deodorant is available in four different formats.

FORMAT 1 - the Mineral Deodorant Stick
This is the most affordable natural deodorant on the market by a long shot. They are a solid block of mineral salts that you wet and then apply to the skin. There’s no white residue, nothing sticky, nothing to stain your clothes. It’s just pure potassium alum that gives up to 24 hours protection without clogging your pores. For those that try to use fear to sell their own products, potassium alum is not teh aluminium found in antiperspirant. That’s aluminium chlorohydrate and aluminium zirconium, and they are NOT found in any product in this brand or in our entire store. The mineral deodorant stick is bi-carb free.

FORMAT 2 - the traditional roll-on
This format takes the original potassium alum mineral & turns it into a liquid format. It’s available in unscented and also scented versions.

FORMAT 3 - a non-aerosol spray
This format takes the original potassium alum mineral & turns it into a liquid format but puts it into a spray bottle rather than a roll-on. It’s also available in unscented and also scented versions like the roll-on is.

FORMAT 4 - invisible solid sticks
These are a different formula than the rest with no potassium alum. They are based on the bi-carb soda style formula with ingredients to help absorb wetness which the other potassium alum formulas don’t do.

Has the Crystal Deodorant formula changed?

No it hasn’t. To comply with international labelling laws, the correct terms for every ingredient have been used for compliance. They are still the same ingredients in the same formula they were always in.
