What makes a glass lunch box better for taking to work?
A glass lunch box is better than both a plastic lunch box and a stainless steel lunch box if you want to reheat your lunch. If you’re putting food in it that will stain, especially if you’re reheating, plastic lunch boxes can retain colour, stain and also retail smells. While you can put them in the microwave, you won’t get great results. A glass lunch box won’t do that.
A stainless steel lunch box cannot go in the microwave. Technically they can go in the oven, but it’s dangerous. They are extremely hot to handle when they come out, they can burn your food and you’ll void your warranty if they warp, then you’ll never get the lid back on.
