There's nothing worse than having a silly accident with your Vitamix and killing the jug only to have to wait a week or more to get a new jug. After many requests, we have made the decision to keep the stock of all Vitamix jugs for the Total Nutrition Centre 5200 model in our own warehouse so they can be ordered for same day shipment (via Express Post).

There are FOUR different Vitamix jug configurations for the Total Nutrition Centre 5200 that you can get.

Vitamix 2 litre Wet Jug with blades

This is the exact same jug that comes with your Vitamix Total Nutrition Centre 5200 when you purchase it. It has a 2 litre capacity and comes with the lid and the blades. A tamper is not included but can be purchased separately.

Why would I buy this?
If you want a spare jug, or in our house 'his & hers' jugs' or if you want to save one for smelly things (like onions, garlic etc) so you don't have to keep soaking it in vinegar to get the smell out.

Vitamix 2 litre Wet Jug without blades

This is the same as above but without the blades.

Why would I buy this?
If you've had an accident with your Vitamix and killed a jug, but you still have perfectly good blades, there is no need to purchase a complete new jug wtih blades, you can simply get a new jug and switch the blades over, either with tools you have in your toolbox already or with the help of the blade replacement tool that's available.

Vitamix 900ml Wet Jug with blades

A smaller capacity jug with the wet blades in it. It's the jug & lid with the blades in it but no tamper. You can use the 2 litre tamper with this jug as it has a graded shaft to stop it hitting the blades, but you can also buy a smaller tamper to suit this jug.

Why would I buy this?
For travelling, or having a spare jug that's a little smaller and cheaper than the main jug. Depending on what type of cooking you're doing, it can be handy to have a second jug.

Vitamix 900ml Dry Jug with blades

This jug has a different blade assembly than the other jugs. The blades are specifically designed and shaped to mill flour, grind coffee beans and knead dough. While you can do these tasks in the other jug, you may, over time, blunt the blades, so it's advised to get the dry jug if you're doing a lot of dry blending.

Why would I buy this?
If you're milling a lot of flour or kneading bread dough on a regular basis.
