This week saw the launch of the reformulated range of organic skin care from Mukti. This popular range of Australian skin & body care products have been improved with native bioactive ingredients from the Australian bush. The majority of the range is packed in Miron Glass using biophotonic technology. This helps to protect and preserve what's inside the bottle without the use of chemical preservatives.

Many of the products have also had a name change along with their reformulation and packaging change, so we're going to do a mini feature on each product to reintroduce them to the store.

Today, we're introducing the Mukti Marigold Hydrating Creme. This is the reincarnation of the Mukti Calendula Cream. The Marigold Hydrating Crème is suitable for normal to dry skin and is a great multi-tasker. It is a thick and rich cream ideally suited to skin that is damaged. It offers longer lasting hydration and skin repair than a standard organic moisturiser and applies a lot thicker too. Unless you have damaged skin that needs a lot of repair, it's not the first thing you'd pick up for an every day crème as it's rich, but you can use it every day if your skin needs the nourishment.

The formula is certified organic, is nut free, fragrance free and is made with a base of coconut oil, shea nut butter and cacao butter. Add to this a selection of native bioactive ingredients including Kakadu Plum, Cornflower and Willow bark and you have a remedy crème for days when you've been out in the elements and your skin needs additional hydration.

This formulation has been successful in the treatment of eczema, psoriasis and rosacea and is safe enough to use on infants and babies for nappy rash, skin inflammation and other skin conditions where dry and sensitive skin are prevalent.

If you're travelling, this can be one of those products that replaces several. You can use this daily if you want to on your face. It can also be used as a hand and body cream, to soothe sunburn or any skin condition and the whole family can use it. It's a great 'rescue remedy' to keep in your suitcase or handbag. This creme is best applied to damp skin as it will help it absorb quickly, but can be applied to dry skin when necessary.
