NEW EB Skin Deodorant
EB Skin is a new brand to Shop Naturally in 2022, but the founder of the brand and the products are no strangers to our store. EB Skin stands for Every Body Skin and in its original incarnation this brand was known as Erica Brooke Skincare, known for one of the first natural deodorant pastes on the market that was super silky smooth that actually worked. We thought it was the best natural deodorant made in Australia back then and we still do now.
Founder and formulator Erica Schofield began the journey of EB Skin under the business name Erica Brooke Skincare. We were the first store in Australia to stock the brand after we road tested and fell in love with the deodorant paste. This was around a decade ago now, and back then the concept of a deodorant paste was still relatively new. We had tried a few, but they either had an overwhelming scent from the use of too many essential oils (or just cheap ones), they were grainy due to using cheap shea butter or they irritated the skin by using too much bi-carb soda.
We fell in love with Erica's luxe deodorant paste because of the delicate balance of quality essential oils native to Australia, especially the Wildflowers scent (which should be coming back), the effort of sourcing unrefined fair trade shea butter that's ultra smoothe and knowing how to perfectly balance those essential oils and bi-carb soda to end up with a formula that doesn't irritate the skin. Just a few months after the craze of natural deodorant swept the natural living space, reports of redness under the pits and having to swap to something not made from bi-carb soda were all over social media, but very few issues were found with this one.
The original range also had seveal skin care products and a beautiful balm. We're hoping a couple of these will pop their heads up again in the future!
For now, please enjoy the original formula Neroli & Vanilla, the new Lemon & Peppermint and the Unscented version. They all contain bi-carb soda and quality essential oils and silky smooth shea butter to delicately touch and protect your pits. The day these arrived back in the warehouse, I grabbed a jar of Neroli & Vanilla for myself, took the lid off, sniffed and was transported back a few years to when my last jar ran out! To this day, it's still the only scented bi-carb deodorant paste my delicate pits have been able to tolerate.
The new incarnation of the deodorant paste is packed in a flat metal tin that you can reuse or recycle. The original was packed in a taller amber glass jar with a plastic lid. The new packaging is much easier to handle and use.
