New doTERRA oils for the skin

Enhance your current organic skin care regime with one or all of the three essential oils and essential oil blends from doTERRA that are new to our range this week.

doTERRA HD Clear (left)

This is a roll-on blend of essential oils that's formulated to target those with break outs on the skin. Whether it's hormonal teen acne or adult acne, it's suitable for everyone. Use it as a spot treatment or be pro-active and use it to promote a clean and clear complexion. Formulated with  Black Cumin Seed Oil, Ho Wood, Melaleuca Leaf, Litsea Berry, Eucalyptus Leaf, Geranium Plant essential oils, apply a small amount to the affected areas of your skin and then dilute with coconut oil or another carrier oil. We recommend patch testing and anyone who is pregnant should seek advice before using. This blend can also be suitable for men, especially athletes, who get breakouts on the body as well as the face.

doTERRA Salubelle (middle)

This is a simply beautiful essential oil blend targeted at anti-aging. Like the HD Clear, it comes in a handy roller ball. In the USA, this blend is called Immortelle as this formula contains the essential oil Helichrysum (which you can read about below) which is sometimes called the Immortal flower. This blend is made from some of the most expensive and powerful essential oils available. This highly concentrated blend will last you a very long time and each time you use it, it's just the tiniest dab diluted down with a carrier oil like coconut oil or jojoba oil. The blend is made up of Frankincense Resin, Hawaiian Sandalwood, Lavender Flower, Myrrh Resin, Helichrysum Flower and Rose Flower essential oils.  While Lavender is a budget friendly oil, the rest of them all have high price tags on their own. This powerhouse of oils blended together provides nourishment for the skin and helps to reduce skin inflammation which is a major source of aging. Forget miracle creams and chemical formulas that promise to make you look 5 years younger, just stick with some sensible and pure and keep yourself hydrated well from the inside. doTERRA Helichrysum (right)

The Helichrysum flower, also known as the everlasting or immortal flower, contains anti-aging and skin rejuvenation properties. It's one of the core ingredients in the doTERRA Salubelle oil blend we introduced above. It is also beneficial in reducing the appearance of skin blemishes, so it can be useful in conjunction with the HD Clear to help heal acne scarring. When using on oily skin or acne prone skin, be sure to use a non-comedogenic oil like jojoba oil as a base oil instead of coconut oil.

Topically, it can also be useful in healing general scars, wounds and cuts and we have seen it included in many essential oil blends for diffusing for various healing properties (which are best discussed with an aromatherapist).
