New to our water bottles range this week, we have new designs in the kids Eddy water bottle range from Camelbak. In January 2014, these bottles weren't available for Back To School. This year, we placed a massive pre-order and have ample stock in all designs not only for Back to School 2015, but also for stocking stuffers for kids Christmas presents.

A little about the Camelbak Eddy Kids water bottle

Spillproof & leakproof

One of the biggest selling features of these bottles that they're spillproof and leakproof. What does this mean? The Camelbak bite valve on this water bottle will only allow water to come out when you bite down on it. As you bite down on the valve, it opens up and water flows. As soon as you stop biting, water flow spots. This makes them the perfect bottle for taking in the car or for young children who knock over bottles and spill things on a regular basis.

When the bite valve is in the closed position, the bottle is leakproof which makes it an ideal addition for school bags. You can safely back your Camelbak water bottle in with your kids lunch boxes and snacks and books without fear of leaking water.

Safety

While the adult Eddy bottles (from 600ml through to 1 litre in size) have a silicone bite valve that is placed on the bottle from the top (and easily pulled off with your teeth if you choose to), the kids 400ml Eddy bottles have a much larger bite valve that are placed on the bottle from the inside of the lid. No matter how hard your kid tries, they cannot remove it with their teeth or accidentally swallow it. This makes these bottles perfect for little kids. The older kids can choose a larger bottle if you think they'll leave the bite valve in place. All plastic components in the bottles are BPA Free.

Spare Parts

Replacement bite valves and straws are available for the Camelbak Eddy Kids bottles and the bottles are also covered under a lifetime warranty for manufacturing defects. We are a Camelbak Australia official stockist and will always have your sale on file should you encounter any issues.

Cleaning

Bite valves and straws should be cleaned on a regular basis and allowed to dry. We have sippy straw cleaners in store if you don't already have one. While the bottle is top rack dishwasher safe, we do not recommend placing any plastic in the dishwasher. Even though they are BPA Free, all plastic has the capacity to start breaking down in extremes of temperatures. We recommend hand washing the bottle, lid and accessories.

Designs

The Camelbak Eddy Kids bottles are available in 2 plain colours (pink and blue) and 11 designs. Some are 2014 styles that are only available for a limited period of time. The full 2015 range that's available in Australia is in our store now and can be seen in the photo at the top of the page. There are designs for both boys and girls including robots, dinosaurs, dolls, foxes, fruit, gators, hearts, ladybugs, flowers, sports and under the sea themes.
