One of our most popular water bottles in store is something that's rather obscure, but since we specialise in things that are hard to find in stores, I guess it's not too weird. It's actually the 2 litre water bottle that looks like a mini water cooler bottle that you can see top right (see above). The bottle has over 100 5 star reviews but the bottle has one flaw that we talk about in the product description. If you're a bit rough with it and you happen to drop it, there's a reasonable chance you're going to break it. I have about 4 of these myself and I use them to store and cart water around to work and to keep some on hand if the council decides to flush my tank out. My water filter does hold about 10 litres, but if you don't have a bench top and you only use a water filter jug, having some pre-filtered water stored at home is a good  idea. For this, they are perfecto. If you're giving it to a tradie, not a great idea.

This week we received our delivery from Camelbak and in it is the new Camelbak Chute bottle in a new 1.5 litre size.  To give you an idea on size comparison, in the photo above, we have the more popular Camelbak Chute in a 750ml size (this one is my bottle, thus no labels and there's water in it) and on the right, the larger 2.2 litre bottle from Enviro Products. The Camelbak Chute is sitting in the middle.

All three bottles are made from BPA Free Tritan Eastman plastic. The Camelbak bottles are made from a much thicker plastic than the Enviro Products. I have, on multiple occasions, dropped my Camelbak Chute on pretty hard surfaces while they are full of water and while they have scratches all over them, they certainly didn't crack. You'd have more of a chance of smashing your lid if you dropped it too awkwardly, and you can buy replacement lids for all the Camelbak bottles.

We did also add one Cheeki bottle back in to our range in a similar size this week. The new Cheeki Thirsty Max is the stainless steel equivalent of the Camelbak Chute and is styled in a similar fashion to the Klean Kanteen bottles and the 360 Degrees bottles. The Thirsty Max is 1.6 litres in size and is a zero plastic product. There is a silicone seal making the lid leakproof and there's no plastic touching your drink and there's no plastic in the packaging either. You will find this bottle featured in multiple categories of our new plastic free shopping categories.
