Litsea essential oil (also known as May Chang) is a pure essential oil that has a lemon-like aroma and new to our doTERRA range. The essential oil is produced from the fruit of the Litsea evergreen shrub. The high content of geranial and neral in Litsea essential oil makes it an ideal oil to put in cleaning products and it shares these two profiles with both Melissa and Lemongrass essential oils. All three share similarities in their aroma so if you are unable to get your hands on Melissa oil (or you cant justify it's extremely high price tag) then this is a good one to try out.
How to use Litsea Essential Oil.
Litsea can be diffused for a refreshing and uplifting aroma in the air and can be used in meditation for balance and inspiration. For topical application, dilute in a carrier oil or use in an aroma diffuser to help clear your mind and rejuvenate energy.
