We are writing a series of posts to show you just what fits inside the insulated lunch bags we sell at Shop Naturally. Today we're featuring one of the most popular lunch bags in our store, the Built NY Gourmet Getaway.

The Gourmet Getaway is made from neoprene, which is wetsuit material. They're tough and sturdy, and stitched together very well. While we have seen plenty of cheaper knock-offs come and go (and fall apart), nothing compares to the quality of these. I have family members who have owned one for each school child for over 2 years. They go to school with the kids every day, get machine washed once a week and they're still performing like the day they bought them. You only need to buy a Gourmet Getaway once. You will not need to buy your kids a new lunch bag every year if you get them one of these. They have large teeth nylon zippers and are machine washable. We've never had a warranty issue with one of these. They're really easy to open and close too.

At a first look, they appear deceptively small, but they're not. The outer dimensions of the bag are 30.5cm wide, x 29.2cm high (to the top of the handle) and the gusset at the bottom is 17.1cm. They're also a little stretchy if you want to squeeze something odd shaped in to them. There are plenty of colours & designs to suit men, women and kids in the range so we wanted to see just how much we could get inside one. There's plenty of room for lunch, snacks and a drink for anyone, whether you're putting it in a school bag, taking it on the train or it rides on the car seat on your way to work.

As you can see below, we got 8 things inside the Gourmet Getaway and comfortably zipped it back up again. We could have easily squeezed a couple more health food bars or chocolate inside if we wanted to. We are providing measurements for the larger items so you can easily substitute something you already own at home.
