Dr Organic Calendula range for sensitive skin and noses
We have been in this industry for 12 years now, and one thing we have noticed through the whole time is that it's really difficult to find good quality natural products that are unscented. Some categories are harder to find than others. In body wash and body lotion and even face moisturiser, it's not impossible, but the one category we've found extremely difficult to find an unscented product for is our natural shampoo range. When we saw Dr Organic release their Calendula range in to Australia, we knew that this one product (paired with the conditioner) was a MUST HAVE for our customers with sensitive noses and scalps.
Why Calendula?
The Calendula Flower is traditionally used as an active in beauty products to soothe due to the presence of polysaccharides, flavonoids, triterpenes and carotene. It can help to moisturise and replenish the skin, including your scalp. It does this without irritation, and because of the potential for irritation in scented ingredients, even natural essential oils, Dr Organic have kept the Calenula range completely fragrance free.
What else is used in the Calendula range?
In addition to the soothing benefits of the calendula flower, Dr Organic have also included a range of complementary ingredients also known to be healing and non-irritating. They include aloe vera, sunflower seed oil, meadowfoam seed oil, ginger extract and echinacea extract.
What's in the range?
There are only 5 products in the Calendula range. They include a shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion and a face moisturiser.
