When putting away our latest batch of stock from doTERRA, we noticed there are now 5 product with an AUST L number printed on the bottle. AUST L numbers are given by the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) to over the counter products like vitamins, sunscreen, complementary medicine and also essential oils in Australia.

These products are listed on the ARTG, the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods, a database which is a part of the TGA which is a part of the Austalian Government Department of Health. The permitted claims for each of the products listed on the ARTG are summarised below.

doTERRA Bergamot Essential Oil AUST L 336053

  • Reduce symptoms of stress
  • Support emotional wellbeing

Inhalation use - 5 drops in an aroma diffuser and inhale deeply. Alternatively, 5 drops in a bowl of hot water or up to 5 drops on a tissue and hold near the nose to inhale. Do not exceed 15 drops per day.

doTERRA Eucalyptus Essential Oil Aust L 336052

  • Relieve respiratory symptoms of common cold
  • Relieve cough

Inhalation use - 8-12 drops in an aroma diffuser and inhale slowly and deeply. Alternatively, 8-12 drops in a bowl of hot water or up to 1-2 drops on a tissue and hold near the nose to inhale.  Use up to 3 times per day.

Topical use - 1 to 2 drops of essential oil with 2-4 drops of carrier oil. Use up to 3 times per day or as needed.

  • Help reduce the symptoms of mild tension headaches
  • Support cognitive function

Inhalation use - 3-4 drops in an aroma diffuser and inhale deeply. Alternatively, 3-4 drops in a bowl of hot water or up to 5 drops on a tissue and hold near the nose to inhale. Use up to 3 times per day or as needed.

  • Soothe and calm nerves

Inhalation use - 1-6 drops in an aroma diffuser and inhale deeply. Alternatively, 5-12 drops in a bowl of hot water or up 1-6 drops on a tissue and hold near the nose to inhale. Use up to 3 times per day or as needed.
