Today saw the arrival of the Cheeki coffee cups back in our store. We had a different design of these in our store quite a few years ago now. At the time, they were only foam insulated and with a lid that just pushed in to place. Fast forward to 2017 and this reusable coffee cup, like its original counterpart, is fully vacuum insulated stainless steel and have a much sturdier lid that screws in to place. They have had a complete design overhaul since the early days and they rival and out perform any others on the market.

What makes them different?

  • Tapered bases - at 6.5cm diameter, we challenge you to find a car cup holder that these won't fit in
  • Vacuum insulated - keeps your coffee or hot drink warm for between 4 to 6 hours
  • Lid screws in to place for security - there's zero risk of the lid popping off while you're taking a sip
  • Spillproof lid design - means when it's closed, if you happen to knock it over, you might get a few drips come out, but there won't be a flood of coffee next to it

Two sizes | Four colours

They come in two sizes - 240ml and 310ml.  Your 240ml is a fraction over 8oz in volume.. The 310ml is just a fraction under 10.5oz. Each one will easily fit under your baristas coffee machine with the lid off.

Up Close

We took these in to our photo studio today to give you a closer look at how the lid works and attaches to your cup.

Lid open and ready to drink from, the mouthpiece cover is on a hinge and does fold down completely flat against the lid if you want it to.

Lid removed, you can see the edge of the cup is smooth and is designed to be directly drunk from if you want to. The lid has a screw thread deep enough so it's not going to accidentally pop off while you're drinking.

Here's a view from the very top with the lid open.  You can see the generous sized drinking mouthpiece and the flip cover flipped completely open and flat for easy drinking.

Cheeki are an Australia company who have been making water bottles from stainless steel since 2009. We recommend handwashing all painted stainless steel products, including lunch boxes, regardless of the brand. Placing any painted stainless steel item in the dishwasher will make the paint susceptible to peeling. You can find suitable products for cleaning these and other eco wares in our natural cleaning products aisle. If these are being placed in an insulated lunch bag along with the rest of your lunch, please ensure they remain upright as the lid is only spillproof and not leakproof.
