In a growing market of reusable food wraps, today, we launched one that is truly a unique product in the market. It's more durable than beeswax wraps and more versatile as well. Made from oven safe, food grade silicone, these stretchy wraps behave like a really thick piece of cling film. They'll stretch to cover a bowl or a plate, they'll even form a leakproof seal for you.  As you can see in our photos, they're great for wrapping sandwiches and snacks too, and they just cling to themselves to form a seal.

As well as replacing cling film, for those who use aluminium foil or baking paper in the oven, Agreena Wraps can also perform their duties in the oven. Safe up to 220°C,  you can lay them on a tray to bake cookies where you would normally use a disposable piece of baking paper.

Each pack contains 4 wraps. You get 2 large 30cm square wraps which I used to wrap the sandwich you see in this photo. You also get 2 medium 20cm square wraps which I used to wrap my bundle of carrot sticks. Below you can see we have packed the sandwich and the carrot sticks in to an insulated lunch bag (this is the rectangular version from Keep Leaf) along with a drink bottle from Klean Kanteen (in the kids 12oz size), a Lunchbots snack pot and a snack bar  from Blue Dinosaur Paleo Bars. There's an ice pack hidden too and there's ample room to put more food in. The wraps are waterproof and we've wrapped a whole lunch, drink and a snack without using a bulky lunch box.

The Agreena wraps can also be used in the freezer. They are a great way to wrap up and store all manner of things, including meat, in something that's not a throw away item like a plastic freezer bag. Glass food containers are great for lots of left overs, but when there's air in the container, freezer burn will set in, so this is now a reusable option, and they're see through, so you know what's in there.

Agreena wraps are $24.95 for a set of 4. At their launch today (1st June), we do have the last stock available in the country for about 8 weeks. Once we run out, and we will, very quickly, please add yourself to our stock notification system and we'll email you when they arrive. They're a little bit like an iPhone launch. For a few weeks, they'll be really hard to get, so please be quick.
