The Huffington Post released an article called 10 of the highest-rated bpa free water bottles on Amazon. It is referring to the US Amazon and several bottles not available in Australia. Despite that, 3 of the top 10 water bottles on their list are already for sale here at Shop Naturally. They are Klean Kanteen, Camelbak (in particular the Chute bottle) &  Memobottle.

In this post, we will share some of our own customer reviews on these three and add our own 'Aussie conversions' for some of the other bottles on the list.

Klean Kanteen literally made the first stainless steel water bottle on the planet. That first design has been copied by many since then. The quality of the construction and how much you can beat these bottles around without them cracking or leaking is still a top selling point for us. We have 'crash tested' several brands and this one is always on the winners pile. Available in sizes from 355ml for kids through to 2 litres, they also make wide mouth insulated bottles that double as a reusable coffee cup, complete with Café Cap.

What our customers say:-

"I love the Klean Kanteen bottles I have several we keep two in our car all the time they are just fantastic. "

"I love the clean smooth lines of this bottle and the capacity is perfect for a day at work. I take rain water from home and this bottle keeps it cool and fresh for the day. I can put 1/2 a lemon or lime in there as well easily with the wide mouth on this bottle.I prefer the plastic free option so I purchased the bamboo cap as well. Love the lifetime guarantee. Very happy with this bottle and have been asked by colleagues where I bought it. I just tell them shopnaturally of course! "

The Chute bottle from Camelbak makes an appearance on the list.  It's a sturdy bpa free bottle available in sizes up to 1 litre in capacity. With a screw lid and ergonomically designed spout, it's made from Tritan Eastman plastic which is BPA Free, and also BPS and BPF free. There are review comments suggesting that getting the cap to sit nicely in the lid can be a chore and they are correct. The lid for the Chute bottle is being redesigned and we'll see the stock rolling in to Australia later in 2018.

Chute is also available in a vacuum insulated stainless steel version to keep drink cold for up to 24 hours.

What our customers say:-

"The best water bottles on the market for hikers Trekkers.. Easy access and both wide and slim mouth to drink from.. Perfect.."

"Exactly what I wanted Great drink bottles and now have 4 colours Able to dispose other drink bottles Easy to clean and easy to use Emailed shop naturally as service was fantastic "

Memobottle is an Australian design, the first flat water bottle that came on to the market. The four sizes from left to right are A7, A6, A5 and Slimline. The two in the middle are the original sizes and the two on the ends are new to the market. They're not just clever names, the footprint of the A7, A6 & A5 are the same as their paper counterparts. So A5 is half the size of an A4 piece of paper, and each one down is half that size again.

A6 is the perfect fit for the back of your jeans pocket. A7 will slip in to a clutch purse. A5 is 750ml and about the size of an iPad (do be careful carrying any water bottle with electronics through) and the slimline is around the width of the A7 and taller. They are super sleak and easy to fit in to handbags and shoulder bags.

The Huff Post list had a fruit infuser bottle in it. Theirs was bpa free plastic. Ours is glass and doubles as an insulated tea infuser flask. You'll find these in the glass water bottle category along with the last bottle on our list. A double wall layer of glass, wrapped in a neoprene pouch, the Beautiful Beaches Tea Flasks come with both a short and a tall stainless steel tea infuser that's just as at home infusing fruit as it is your favourite herbal tea. Fruit water should be drunk the day you make it, ideally in a few hours. Fruit floating in water will go off quicker, so it's a make and drink deal.

The Lifefactory glass straw bottles were on the Huff Post list. They are no longer available in Australia, and we had a bit of a  bad run with the straw lids leaking and whistling. Our Avanti glass bottles are a similar style, better value for money and come with 2 lids, a screw lid and a straw lid. The screw lid is best used for transporting and the straw lid for convenience.
