YES started in 2003 because there was a lack of natural lube offerings in the market. Mainstream brands focused more on better sex rather than vaginal dryness and women's health, so a conscious choice to create responsibly formulated products using certified organic ingredients was born.

All YES product packaging is designed with no demeaning or smutty imagery. The products have to feel good, work well and only use natural ingredients. There's no synthetic ingredients, whether they're harmful or not and there's nothing that's known to irritate mucus membranes.

What is YES WB Water Based Lubricant

Yes WB is the water based personal lubricant in the YES Lubricant range. WB Natural lubricant is safe to use with rubber latex and polyisoprene* condoms and sex toys. While natural rubber latex is the most popular material for condoms, it can be broken down by oil based lubricants, so it is never safe to use an oil based personal lubricant with condoms.

YES WB is made from 96% organic ingredients like aloe vera, flax extract, guar gum, locust bean gum, xanthan gum, sodium chloride, potassium sorbate, citric acid & sodium benzoate. It's one of the few personal lube brands on the market that offer better value for money in larger sizes. YES WB is available in a 50ml, 100ml and 150ml tube.

YES WB is suitable for use with all toys and condoms. The only time it isn't very effective is if you're playing in water. For water play, YES OB is needed.

What is YES OB Oil Based Lubricant

YES OB is a longer lasting lube than YES WB. A combination of plant based oils and beeswax are formulated to help with vaginal dryness. This lubrication protects mucus membranes with a silky smooth long lasting blend of sunflower seed oil, shea butter, sweet almond oil, beeswax, cocoa seed butter and vitamin E.

YES OB is not condom safe, but it is silicone toy safe and best for water play. The pH of both YES WB and YES OB are matched to the vagina (between 3.8 and 5.). We are waiting for YES BUT to come back on the market for a close pH balance for anal sex which is more alkaline.

What's the difference in the feel of YES WB and YES OB personal lubricants?

Regardless of the brand, water based personal lubricants have a more natural feel to them and they don't have any stickiness to them. They're great at reducing friction without being too noticeable. It's the personal lubricant that feels like it's not there after a while. In direct contrast there's a silky sensuous feel and luxury to an oil based lubricant that you don't get from a water based lube. You can use YES OB as a massage oil and then transition to sexual pleasure and sensitivity without any issues of whether the delicate tissues around the vagina will have their pH balance disturbed.
