U Konserve are an American company who were early adopters of the zero waste movement, creating their first ever zero waste lunch kit in 2008. Their lunch boxes are made with easy open lids, so even small hands can get them on and off, making them a great choice for a kids lunch box. In the past their lids were made from plastic and prone to cracking over time. Now they are made from a strong silicone and are not only a lot easier to use, but they are tougher.

U Konserve is a Certified B Corporation company and a member of 1% for the Planet and is committed to creating a business for good. Their stainless steel lunch box bases are dishwasher safe and oven safe, but care should be taken when handling them hot. We always prefer silicone to be washed by hand for longevity and any smells can be removed with a diluted white vinegar solution which will also get rid of water spots.
