With guidelines suggesting the average person drinks 2 litres of water per day, drinking from a 1 litre water bottle carries half your daily requirements while you're out and about. You may go long periods of time during the day without the opportunity to refill, so having a 1 litre drink bottle reduces the number of times you need to top up.

What materials are your 1 litre water bottles made from?

There are 4 main materials & configurations for 1 litre water bottles in our store, and you can fill your hydration needs for both cold drinks and hot drinks in this size category. We have a glass bottle from Avanti in 1 litre, from Camelbak we have 1 litre in the Chute range in their BPA Free plastic, and we have both single wall and insulated water bottle options from Cheeki and insulated bottles from Avanti all in 1 litre sizes. If you look at the Klean Kanteen TKwide range, you’ll see bottles that can have different links to convert to a travel mug, a smoothie cup, food jar or coffee cup.

How heavy is a 1 litre water bottle to carry

When your 1 litre water bottle is full, the water alone is going to weigh 1kg. The lightest bottles are the bpa free plastic from Camelbak, followed by the single wall stainless steel bottles, the glass, and then the double wall stainless steel bottles.
