The Happy Sparrow Dental Floss Refills are packed in a plant based biodegradable home compostable bag inside a cardboard box. It fits inside our stainless steel floss container (the container can be seen in a group photo and is available to buy separately).
The floss is made from 100% mulberry silk and gives superior performance to polyester or bamboo / polyester blend flosses which are prone to breaking. There is no plastic in the packaging of this product and we do not use plastic in our packing materials.
The refills are made by a different manufacturer than our floss in the stainless steel tins and the floss is softer and only lightly waxed.
