It has been quite some time since we've have a specially formulated organic eye makeup remover in our store and we have no plans to go hunting for another one. Why?

It's really not necessary when there are pure oils that will do the same job. These pure oils are great multi-taskers and you can save money by choosing these products to form a part of your natural skin care regime and use one product for more than one use.

Today, we're talking about our favourite Jojoba Oil from La Mav. Why is it our favourite? Besides the top quality of the actual oil, it comes in an airless pump so it lasts longer than most jojoba oils on the market once you start using it and it cannot be degraded by light. Unlike other leading brands (which we stock too), this one is certified organic. We think it's worth paying a little extra for the quality and the organic certification, but any 100% pure jojoba oil will work just fine.

Jojoba Oil as an eye makeup remover
To use jojoba oil as an eye makeup remover, simply massage the oil around the eye area. Be sure to completely saturate the area. Gently massage the jojoba oil around your eyes and then gently wipe away with organic cotton pads or a soft and damp wash cloth.

Jojoba Oil as a daily moisturiser
This becomes the most economical in our store. Jojoba Oil is the closest oil in nature to the sebum found in our skin and it's suited to all skin types, even if you have oily skin. For those with oily skin, the oil will dissolve excess sebum and let your pores breathe again.

Jojoba Oil to clean your nails
When you use TRUE natural nail polish (that's water based nail polish, not the petrochemical based 5-free polish others pass off as natural), you need to ensure your nails are thoroughly clean before you apply the base coat. One of the best things to do this with is Jojoba Oil. Simply rub a little oil in to your nails and around the cuticles and wipe off with a damp organic cotton pad.
